ATLANTA – Jeff Francoeur hit a grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, rallying Atlanta to a stunning victory over Washington.

Chris Reitsma earned the win with a scoreless ninth. The Braves won for the fifth time in six games and remained six games behind New York in the NL East.
